1853 Gallery is on the ground floor and has a wide selection of David Hockney's art ranging from early drawings to recent oil paintings.
Inside the Diner on the second floor is David Hockney's Local Snaps exhibition. Next to the Diner is the 2nd Gallery which is a long gallery now displaying "The Textile Process".A set of paintings by Royal Academician Henry Marvell Carr, commissioned for Salts Mill in 1958 and at the end of this gallery there is an exhibition showing the History of Saltaire . It also includes the famous "tennis" print, which was faxed by David Hockney to the Mill from his studio in Hollwood Hills in 1990.
� On the top floor next to the Cafe into the Opera is the Stages Exhibition. This exhition has Hockney's wonderful opera sets, paintings and drawings which were first exhibited at The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis in 1983 and travelled to various locations around the world, including the Hayward Gallery London in 1985. There are 4 fully set up live designs in the Mill, and many more pictures, representing 8 of the many opera sets and costumes, which David Hockney has designed.
